We fish some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline our great state has to offer. We focus on grass flats, oyster bars, tidal creeks, and open bays stretching north toward North Myrtle Beach. Summer brings seasonal targets like bonnetheads, blacktip and spinner sharks along the beaches and migrating tarpon. Spring and fall produce consistent redfish on the flats.

We also offer freshwater fly fishing trips for largemouth bass, brim, bowfin and other freshwater species when conditions line up.​

I run a Hells Bay Guide, this skiff is built for handling open water and float silently in super shallow water. The Hells Bay Guide can fish up to three anglers comfortably, and has plenty of storage to keep gear out of the elements. For a full time fly fishing guide, it is the right tool for the job.

A half day Charleston fly fishing charter built around the best tide window. Ideal for redfish on the flats, summer shark fly fishing, or a focused inshore trip when time is limited.
6 Hour Fly Fishing Charter – $700
My most popular fly fishing charter. More time to adjust with the tide, cover water, and stay on fish. Great for redfish, shark fly fishing, or seasonal tarpon opportunities along the South Carolina coast.
8 Hour Fly Fishing Charter – $950
A full day fly fishing experience for anglers who want maximum opportunity. Fish multiple tide phases, run different areas, and target redfish, sharks, or tarpon depending on season and conditions.

I am a full time fly fishing guide and owner of Tidal Waters Guide Service, specializing in redfish and shark fly fishing along the South Carolina coast. I grew up in North Myrtle Beach fishing the Waccamaw River, local marshes, and the Intracoastal Waterway, which built my understanding of tides, shallow water, and coastal fish behavior.
I offer fly fishing and light tackle charters in Folly Beach, Kiawah Island, McClellanville, Winyah Bay, the Waccamaw River, and North Myrtle Beach. From Charleston to the North Carolina line, I guide anglers targeting redfish, tarpon, trout, flounder, and shark fly fishing opportunities year round. After serving in the United States Coast Guard and working in Conservation Law Enforcement, I started this guide service to share the water I love and create trips my clients look forward to returning to every year.
